Khanh Son 2024 third Fruit Festival opens

Khanh Son 2024 third Fruit Festival kicked off in To Hap Town, Khanh Son District, Khanh Hoa Province on August 10. Present at the opening ceremony were Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; leaders of local departments and agencies in Khanh Hoa Province; leaders of the districts of Ninh Son, Bac Ai in Ninh Thuan Province, Song Hinh in Phu Yen Province, Krong Bac, Dak Lak Province together with tourists and residents.

During 4 days on August 10 - 13, Khanh Son Fruit Festival has many special activities such as agricultural trade connection; reenacting Raglai traditional festivity, Khanh Son lithophone performance, a delicious fruit contest and exhibition of traditional handicraft products such as baskets, crossbows and local wine. Besides, there are meetings and exchanges with production and business enterprises in the agricultural sector; a seminar on tourism development connection in Khanh Son District, etc.

There are 60 booths of high econimic value fruits, typical products and agricultural products of neighboring districts such as durian, mangosteen, green-skinned grapefruit, jackfruit, purple sugarcane and so on.

Khanh Son Fruit Festival is organized every two years to introduce the potential and strengths of agriculture and tourism of the district; boost trade link and experience exchange in the production and access to advanced technologies in agriculture; and promote the destination, culinary and tourism products of Khanh Son District.
