Promoting tourism development cooperation

Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism jointly with Phu Yen Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ninh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a conference in Nha Trang City on November 22 to review tourism development cooperation between Khanh Hoa and Phu Yen and Ninh Thuan in 2024. Present at the event were Le Huu Hoang, Standing Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; and Dao My, Vice-Chairman of Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee; leaders of tourism sectors, tourism enterprises of 3 provinces of Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen and Ninh Thuan.

In 2024, the 3 localities have regularly exchanged information on tourism promotion, investment cooperation, and tourism development policies. The tourism sectors of Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, and Ninh Thuan have supported each other in promoting tourism through social media channels and tourism promotion websites managed by local Departments of Tourism/Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; participated in cultural and tourism events and Famtrip programs; built tourism products and provided tourism training, etc.

At the conference, the localities agreed to continue to cooperate and exchange information on State management over tourism; promote connection in building tourism products, organizing joint booths at tourism fairs; develop Famtrip programs, link tourism development between provinces in the Central Coast and Central Highlands regions to build inter-provincial and inter-regional tourism routes; jointly host tourism promotion conferences in potential markets at home and abroad, etc.

On this occasion, representatives of tourism enterprises of the 3 provinces signed tourism development cooperation agreements.
