APAC destinations showed strong post-COVID recovery through 2024, with Beijing, Guangzhou and Nha Trang standing out as top performers.

Beijing and Guangzhou dominated APAC’s tourism rebound growth (112% and 87%), followed by Nha Trang (80%). In the top 10 APAC destinations with impressive year-on-year growth included 2 other Southeast Asian countries, namely Kuala Lumpur (42%) and Phuket (33%).

In 2024, Khanh Hoa welcomed more than 10.8 million overnight visitors (making up 135% of the plan and up 49% over the same period), including nearly 4.8 million international arrivals (up by 98%). Tourism revenue reached more than VND53.1 trillion (making up 145.62% of the plan and up by 56.47% over 2023). Khanh Hoa tourism in 2025 has targeted 11.8 million visitors, including 5.2 million international visitors and tourism revenue of VND60,000 billion.
