Khanh Hoa Tourism Promotion Conference in Australia

Khanh Hoa Tourism Promotion Conference took place in Australia on May 21. Present at the event was Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; representatives of the Australian Trade and Investment Agency; representatives of departments and agencies of Khanh Hoa Province; representatives of associations in Australia and more than 100 businesses of Australia and Khanh Hoa Province.

Speaking at the conference, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Thieu emphasized the outstanding potential of the locality with a diverse marine ecosystem, nearly 200 islands and islets, a long coastline and many unique cultural values. In 2024, Khanh Hoa welcomed more than 10.8 million tourist arrivals, including nearly 4.7 million international visitors, showing a striking tourism recovery.

With its vision of becoming a centrally-run city by 2030, Khánh Hòa Province aims to strengthen partnerships with localities and businesses in Australia, particularly in expanding air connectivity and developing tourism products. The Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed optimism that the conference would act as a catalyst for long-term collaboration between Khánh Hòa and Australia, fostering sustainable development and mutual prosperity.

Leaders of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with Australian enterprises, witnessed by Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Thieu and delegates.

At the conference, the provincial tourism sector promoted the destination of Khanh Hoa with tourist attractions, high-class resort services, sea tourism products and local cultural experiences. Representatives of Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air shared information about existing air routes and expressed their desire to cooperate to expand connections between the two countries to bring more tourists from Australia to Khanh Hoa and vice versa.

At the conference, a memorandum of understanding was officially handed over, marking the cooperation between Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association and its tourism partners in Australia. This event paved the way for opening up practical cooperation opportunities in building tourism programs, developing diverse products and enhancing connectivity to attract tourists from Australia to Khanh Hoa and vice versa.
