Nha Trang College of Tourism, in coordination with Hai Phong College of Tourism, organized an academic conference on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in tourism education at Nha Trang College of Tourism on June 30.

At the conference, delegates shared successful models and practical experience in incorporating AI into tourism education; discussed synchronous solutions to narrow the gap between training and practice between schools and businesses, contributing to shaping the future of tourism education in the era of AI and the digital age, contributing to developing a sustainable cooperation network between training institutions, businesses and research organizations to jointly create a smart tourism education ecosystem.

Some presentations delivered at the event included the role of smart tourism in reviving local tourism; ChatGPT application in tourism training, a practical perspective from a resort human resources director; popularizing digital English for sustainable tourism development in Khanh Hoa; solutions to improve AI application skills for lecturers and students in the tourism industry; deploying QR code and AI technology in promoting the values ​​of cultural heritages, etc.

Earlier, on June 28, Nha Trang College of Tourism signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korean Tourism Management Association to advance training initiatives and develop high-quality tourism human resources.
