Vietjet Air opens direct air route from Russia to Khanh Hoa

Anex Vietnam Travel and Trading Company, Ltd., Vietjet Air and Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company welcomed the first Vietjet direct flight from Russia to Khanh Hoa on June 15.

The flight with 220 passengers departed from Vladivostok and landed at Cam Ranh International Airport. Since June 15, Vietjet Air jointly with Anex Vietnam has operated 6 flights week from Vladivostok, Blagovensk and Khabarovsk (Russia).

With the resumed direct flights, since the beginning of the year, the number of Russian tourists to Vietnam has increased sharply. In the first 5 months of the year, Vietnam welcomed more than 210,000 Russian tourists, including 100,000 Russian tourists to Khanh Hoa. They stayed at hotels in Bai Dai (Cam Lam, Cam Ranh) and Nha Trang City, took island and eco-tours, visited VinWonders Nha Trang, etc.

The rising influx of Russian tourists has contributed to the diversification of Khanh Hoa’s international visitors to Khanh Hoa.
