600 mangrove trees planted in Ha Lien Village (Nha Phu Lagoon)

Ana Mandara Cam Ranh Resort, in coordination with Khanh Hoa Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment, organized a tree-planting day in Ha Lien Village (Nha Phu Lagoon, Hoa Thang Ward) on July 9.

The activity received enthusiastic participation and support from the resort staff and local residents. The group planted 600 mangrove trees in Ha Lien Village. According to Le Dai Hai, General Manager of Ana Mandara Cam Ranh Resort, this initiative is part of the resort’s green and sustainable tourism project with the goal of protecting the marine environment and responding to climate change. This activity was to raise community awareness and promote green tourism development.

Ha Lien is an ancient village founded in 1653 by military commander Hung Loc Hau under the reign of Lord Nguyen Phuc Tan. Presently, the village is home to 333 families with a total population of 1,128, mostly relying on aquaculture and fishing for their livelihoods. Ha Lien exudes a serene charm characterized by aquaculture ponds and many native species such as mangroves and other wetland flora.

The village features Ha Lien Communal House, Nam Hai Whale Shrine, Thien Y A Na Temple, Hau Tho Lady Shrine and Hue Lien Pagoda.  Recognized as one of the “Top 7 Most Impressive Destinations in Vietnam” in 2024 by Saigon Tiep Thi Magazine, Ha Lien Village is becoming a popular choice for tourists to explore the natural scenery and local life.
