Khanh Hoa signs comprehensive cooperation agreement with Vietnam Airlines for the period 2026 - 2030

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Airlines Corporation (Vietnam Airlines) has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding on comprehensive cooperation for the period 2026 - 2030 within the framework of the 2025 Business and Investor Meeting to strengthen coordination in tourism and aviation development, and investment and trade promotion.

Present at the event were Nguyen Chi Dung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province; Dang Ngoc Hoa, Vietnam Airlines CEO.

According to the agreement, Vietnam Airlines will promote Khanh Hoa's destination on its media ecosystem such as Heritage Magazine, in-flight videos, entertainment screens, Lotus lounge and international representative channels; support the province in communication efforts and serve as the official carrier for major events hosted in the region.

The airline will also coordinate with the province to organize famtrips, presstrips, and national tourism-aviation events every 2 years; extend preferential policies and support transportation for local working delegations while integrating local tourism products and services into its ecosystem, enhancing accessibility for both domestic and international passengers.

In the 2021 – 2025 period, the Provincial People's Committee has also signed a cooperation agreement with Vietnam Airlines and achieved satisfactory results. The opening of Nha Trang - Busan international route in 2025 showed efforts to connect and resume tourism in the Southern Central region in general and Khanh Hoa in particular in Vietnam Airlines' strategic flight network.
