Fruit Festival to kick off in Son Lam

Lam Son Commune People's Committee will organize the first Fruit Festival 2025 on August 29 – 31 to welcome the Party Congress at all levels and congratulate the success of the first Lam Son Commune Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Rambutan is one of the specialty fruits of Lam Son Commune.

During the festival, there will be various special activities such as an exhibition space for OCOP products, fruits, delicacies and other specialties; check-in with giant fruit models; miniature orchards at the square and garden tours.

The opening ceremony, combined with a local community art and cultural night, is scheduled to take place Da Nhim - Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company football field at 7:00 p.m. on August 30.

Lam Son mangosteen is famous for its small, sweet seeds and a uniquely delightful flavor.

The festival showcases the fruit brands and produce of Son Lam Commune, while also promoting the local destination. It serves as a platform to boost local agricultural tourism by attracting visitors to experience fresh fruits and fruit-based products, contributing to the growth of a high-quality agricultural economy integrated with tourism, strengthening supply-demand connections, fostering collaboration in agricultural production, and facilitating access to advanced farming technologies. It also encourages the development of garden tourism and supports the creation of a sustainable value chain for key local fruit varieties.
