Khanh Hoa University held an International conference “Effective tourism development in the context of global integration” on August 1, with the attendance of nearly 200 delegates and scientists in Vietnam, Australia and Russia.
The conference gathered 70 articles by authors from nearly 50 universities, colleges, institutes, academies, and tourism businesses at home and abroad. 29 presentations were made at the conference, addressing issues such as Vietnam tourism in the integration trend; experience of the world, Vietnam, localities and businesses; and tourism development policies and solutions; tourism products and services; tourism resources, operations, communications and so on.

Delegates and scientists also discussed sustainable tourism development, smart tourism, green tourism; the interplay between history, culture, natural features, local communities and tourism development; tourism branding in enhancing competitiveness; strategic solutions for effective tourism development in the context of integration, etc.
The event was part of the activities to mark Khanh Hoa University’s 10th foundation anniversary (August 3, 2015 - 2025).
