Russian Airlines Aeroflot inaugurates more direct air service to Khanh Hoa from Sep.5

Russian Airlines Aeroflot has just announced to inaugurate more direct air service Irkutsk - Cam Ranh with 2 flights/week from September 5.

Irkutsk - Cam Ranh air service is expected to increase to 3 flights/ week from October 6 and 4 per week from October 29. This is the second air route operated by Aeroflot air to Khanh Hoa, following the launch of the Moscow - Cam Ranh service from late March 2025.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Russian tourist market is making a striking recovery in 2025, fueled by the resumption of direct flights from Russia to Cam Ranh.

In the first 7 months of 2025, Khanh Hoa received as many as 220,640 tourist arrivals from Russia, a year-on-year increase of 269.6% with 30 daily flights to Cam Ranh. They included 26 charter flights by Ikar Airlines, IrAero Airlines, Vietjet Air, Azur Air, RedWings and 4 by Aeroflot.

According to Vietnam National Tourism Administration, in the first 7 months of 2025, Vietnam welcomed more than 315,130 tourist arrivals from Russia, a year-on-year increase of 156%. Russia is now in the top 10 largest sources of international visitors to Vietnam.
