Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa now has a lot of visitors from many countries in the world. Khanh Hoa tourism is brightening with the strong return of international tourists.

Recently, Khanh Hoa has continuously entered the group of attractive destinations for international tourists. In just 8 months of 2025, Khanh Hoa welcomed 279,000 Russian visitors, an increase of 294.9% compared to the same period in 2024. There are currently 32 flights/week from Russia to Cam Ranh International Airport. “Khanh Hoa is like a small paradise for us,” said Dmitri, an engineer from Moscow, while sipping a cold beer at a seaside restaurant.

In 8 months alone, Vietnam welcomed more than 1.6 million Korean visitors, half of whom came to Khanh Hoa. On average, Cam Ranh receives 17 flights from Korea every day, and the flights are almost fully booked. Korean visitors like short vacations, many times a year. Park Min Jung from Busan shared: “This is the 5th time I have been to Nha Trang and each time I have discovered something new. The people here are friendly, the weather is pleasant, the service is reasonable. I consider Nha Trang as my long-term destination”.

Khanh Hoa's tourism is even more brilliant with the presence of many other markets such as: China, Kazakhstan, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia... According to statistics from the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the first 8 months of 2025, the whole province welcomed more than 3.7 million international visitors, an increase of 15.7% over the same period last year.

According to Cung Quynh Anh - Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the positive results of Khanh Hoa tourism come from the Government's open visa policies; the strong direction of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee in implementing tourism tasks. The provincial tourism sector has also made efforts to effectively implement promotion programs to attract international visitors, innovate and diversify the system of products and services to enhance the attractiveness of Khanh Hoa tourism, build a healthy and professional tourism business environment...

With the current situation, the number of international visitors to Khanh Hoa will certainly increase when entering winter - the peak season for international visitors. Many airlines from Russia and Kazakhstan have planned to increase flights in the coming time to bring visitors to Khanh Hoa for winter holidays. On September 5, Aeroflot (Russia) launched the Irkutsk - Cam Ranh route and from October will increase the frequency to 3 flights/week. In the coming time, Aeroflot will continue to open more routes from Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok to Cam Ranh to open the door to welcome Russian tourists to Khanh Hoa. Similarly, Nordwind Airlines will operate charter flights from Moscow, Ekaterinburg and some other cities of Russia to Cam Ranh in late September and early October.

The local tourism industry is urgently preparing for the peak season at the end of the year. According to Truong Van Tien - Director of Khanh Hoa Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, in the coming time, the province will step up tourism promotion in the markets of Korea, China, European countries; welcome famtrip groups from China, Taiwan (China) to survey tourism in Khanh Hoa; solemnly welcoming large tourist groups arriving by plane, ship and train... to reach the goal of reaching about 5.4 million international visitors in 2025.

To retain and expand the international tourist market, Khanh Hoa continues diversifying products, deeply exploiting cultural and historical values, community tourism, eco-tourism associated with environmental conservation; focusing on training high-quality human resources, improving foreign language skills, and civilized behavior. The province is impulsing digital transformation in tourism management, promotion and operation. Only with sustainable development can Khanh Hoa maintain its advantages and become an attractive international destination in the long term.
