To meet passenger service requirements, the airport authority at Cam Ranh International Airport has performed well its role of chairing and coordinating activities between state management agencies, units, and enterprises providing aviation and non-aviation services to ensure smooth and quality aviation services. Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) has synchronously deployed identification technology solutions, electronic authentication and biometric identification in the check-in process. From July 2025, passengers performing domestic flight procedures use Face ID to authenticate their identity at check-in stages, without requiring paperwork when traveling on Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air flights. This process helps reduce waiting time, simplify procedures, and is convenient for passengers. In addition, ACV has also invested in installing 7 multi-head hand luggage scanners that allow luggage to be viewed from two different angles, helping security staff to speed up baggage processing for passengers.
Khanh Hoa Province People's Committee has requested the Department of Construction to coordinate with Cam Ranh International Airport to advise the Provincial People's Committee on a document recommending the Ministry of Construction and the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to soon approve the adjustment of the Cam Ranh International Airport Planning for the period 2025 - 2030, with a vision to 2050. The provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presides over and coordinates with relevant agencies and units to study the establishment of a working group to coordinate between units at Cam Ranh International Airport to grasp and exchange professional information to promptly handle and overcome limitations, existing problems, and improve the quality of products and services for customers. At the same time, flight promotion activities have been strengthened to actively seek cooperation opportunities, and develop new international flight routes to Khanh Hoa.
The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the People's Committee of Bac Cam Ranh Ward and the People's Committee of Cam Lam Commune to proactively work and coordinate with relevant units to research, survey, and supplement the system of trees and flowers, creating a clean and beautiful landscape along the Cam Ranh International Airport area; have solutions to collect concentrated waste in the area in front of the terminal and mobilize the removal of temporary tents along Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue (from Cam Ranh International Airport to the south of Cu Hin Mountain) to create an impressive landscape for tourists.
Nguyen Long Bien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said: The Provincial People's Committee has requested Cam Ranh International Airport to proactively work and coordinate with the Airport Authority at Cam Ranh International Airport, Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company, Cam Ranh International Airport Border Police, Customs Branch VIII and International Health Quarantine Center to review and deploy solutions to shorten the time for immigration procedures, baggage clearance, arrange additional human resources during peak hours and arrange screening counters and multilingual instruction boards to facilitate passengers.
