On October 8, the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak provinces convened a conference at Champa Island Nha Trang to officially sign a cooperation agreement aimed at jointly developing the culture, sports and tourism sectors for the 2026–2030 period.

Present at the event were Nguyen Long Bien, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Tourism Development of Khanh Hoa Province; leaders of the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak provinces; and more than 130 delegates representing agencies, agencies, associations and enterprises of the 2 provinces.

The 2 provinces of Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement in the fields of culture, sports and tourism. Key areas of collaboration include jointly organizing and exchanging art performances; participating in cultural, fine arts, and book exhibitions; supporting cultural communication and promotional activities; taking part in sports competitions held by both provinces; and facilitating favorable conditions for provincial teams to engage in training and competitive events.

Additionally, the agreement outlines plans to jointly develop tourism products featuring each locality’s unique characteristics; share information on tourist destinations, tourism products, and new travel programs. Tourism businesses are to collaborate in building interconnected tourism offerings. The agreement also includes provisions for exchanging information on policies to attract investment in tourism development, as well as coordinating efforts in tourism marketing, strategic planning and promotional activities.
