Malaysian Famtrip to explore tourism in Khanh Hoa

A Famtrip of Malaysian travel businesses will explore tourism, tourist destinations and services in Khanh Hoa, according to the leader of Khanh Hoa Tourism Association on December 10.

The Famtrip delegation with 30 members, including directors and sales managers from travel companies belonging to the Malaysian Tourism and Travel Association (MATTA), will spend three days experiencing tourism offerings in Khanh Hoa.

Vietnamese tourism businesses work with Malaysian partners.

According to the plan, after exploring tourism in Lam Dong Province, on December 12, the delegation will travel to Phan Rang to discover potential attractions in southern Khanh Hoa, including ecotourism, Cham culture and local cuisine. The Famtrip will then continue to Bai Dai in Cam Lam District, focusing on the area’s high-end resort development potential.

On December 14 and 15, the Malaysian Famtrip delegation will visit famous tourist destinations in Nha Trang, such as Nha Trang Bay island tour, the special national historical monument of Ponagar Temples, I-resort hot spring park, Champa Island; and attend a meeting with Khanh Hoa tourism businesses together with a Gala Dinner.

Malaysia represents a promising market, with four weekly flights connecting directly to Khanh Hoa, offering convenient access for travelers. The arrival of the Malaysian Famtrip delegation marks a strategic step in strengthening international promotion efforts, paving the way for a breakthrough in 2026 and beyond, according to Nguyen Quang Thang, Permanent Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Tourism Association.
