On the first two days of the New Year 2026, the number of visitors to tourist attractions in Nha Trang has risen slightly compared to regular days. Popular destinations included the Ponagar Temples (Bac Nha Trang Ward), Long Son Pagoda (Tay Nha Trang Ward), Nha Trang Cathedral (Nha Trang Ward), Nha Trang Xua Craft Village (Nam Nha Trang Ward), and Truong Son Traditional Craft Village (Nha Trang Ward). Most of the tourists were international visitors, particularly from South Korea, China, and Russia.

Nguyen Thi Hanh, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, said, “My family chose Nha Trang for our 2026 New Year holiday because of its convenient travel and peaceful atmosphere. Visiting temples and historical sites at the beginning of the year brings a sense of tranquility and serenity.”
Security and order are well maintained at tourist attractions during the 2026 New Year holiday. According to Truong Van Son, Deputy Head of the Ponagar Temples Management Board, more than 10,000 visitors arrived on the first two days of the New Year. The Management Board has increased staffing to guide tourists, ensure safety, uphold environmental hygiene and enhance visitor experience.
