Ta Gu waterfall is located in Son Hiep commune, Khanh Son mountainous district. From Provincial Road 9 in Cam Ranh City, travellers go about 40km on the very romantic Khanh Son mountain pass to arrive To Hap town. There is no signboard showing where Ta Gu waterfall is. Travellers have to ask local people. Sometimes when seeing you looking for the way, some local people stop you and say, "Are you going to Ta Gu waterfall? Go this way". I have met such enthusiastic people, to set my foot on this mysterious waterfall.
Ta Gu waterfall was formerly known as Nga Voi waterfall. It has a a story told by the elderly here, then it is handed down. It was from the time of heaven and earth harmony, where there was a stream with blooming flowers in four seasons and blue water. The fairies in the sky flew down to bathe in the stream, then went to the top of the mountain to dry their long hair. Among them, the youngest fairy did not come back to the sky on time before the sky door closed. She stayed and turned into the waterfall.

In fact, Ta Gu waterfall is well known for only a few years, when many young people come here by motorcycle to explore. From then on, the number of visitors to the fall kept increasing.
It is undeniable that going to Ta Gu waterfall is a real adventure. The road down below is the dangerous one with landside, protruding roots, adventurers cling to roots, their legs look for protruding soil tissues in order to climb down to the fall banks.
When I arrived there I could only see rocks full of water, and the water was flowing down. I jumped onto the cliffs to cross the other side of the stream. The stones here are very slippery, so many people who go ahead have intentionally released large bamboo branches for people to follow. A simpler way is to roll up the pants and wade because the highest point is about 0.8m.
After crossing the bank, follow the forest path opened by the previous travellers. The path is small, about 0.4m wide, is difficult to go. Finally, the most difficult task is climbing down a cliff at a height of 5m to conquer Ta Gu waterfall. Many people gave up, just sitting on the rocks to look the waterfall from afar.
Reaching Ta Gu waterfall will be different from any waterfalls you have visited. White water flowed out smoothly and noiselessly, pouring into a 200m2 lake. Next to the lake is a ledge about 6m high. There are many primeval forest trees, many rocky beaches to rest and sit there to watch the waterfall.
Ta Gu waterfall has still no services nơ, but the attraction of a wild waterfall has atractted more and more visitors.
