"Nha Trang say Hi" promises to be impressive music festival 

The most anticipated music event in Nha Trang City this summer is “Nha Trang say Hi”, a highlight of the 2025 Culture and Sea Tourism Festival. Dao Duy Thien Bao, general director of “Nha Trang say Hi” has had an interview with Khanh Hoa Newspaper about this music event.

- What are some of the highlights of “Nha Trang Say Hi”? How is sea-related features presented in this music event?

- The festival will open with a stirring DJ music performance, followed by a performance which is a harmonious combination of light, sound, choreography, and fashion with the participation of hundreds of professional and amateur artists and performers. The main part of “Nha Trang say Hi” includes three sections. Section 1 features many traditional cultural and art elements presented animatedly in various music styles. Section 2 is performance of light like graceful dances combined with LED screen and arousing songs presenting the vibrant and bustling nightlife of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa. Section 3 will combine both auditory delights in section 1 and visual delights in section 2 with performances of many popular young music stars such as Ly Ly and Anh Tu.

“Nha Trang Says Hi” is the signature event of the 2025 Culture and Sea Tourism Festival; therefore, we have carefully integrated sea element of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa in particular and Vietnam in general into the whole program of the festival. We have also staged and arranged the traditional elements as well as repertoire with a fast-paced, vibrant and modern rhythm in align with a music festival and to satisfy audience’s tastes.

- Why did "Nha Trang say Hi" chosen as the name for this music festival?

- Given the recent popularity of "Anh Trai Say Hi" program, we chose the name "Nha Trang say Hi" as a warm greeting from Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa to visitors from over the world and a way to create an initial good impression for the music festival. However, "Nha Trang say Hi" is not another version of "Anh Trai Say Hi"; it has its own format. We have also carefully chosen "Anh Trai say Hi" artists whose performance styles are suitable with "Nha Trang say Hi" to perform in the music festival. "Nha Trang say Hi" will be a vibrant music program combining modern sound, lighting and technological effects. The performances are staged with a modern concept, promising to create a memorable music program that simultaneously celebrates the unique natural beauty, sea features, and people of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa.

- Given the large-scale of “Nha Trang say Hi”, how will the stage design be to arouse audience's interest?

- The stage is designed with 18 LED screens arranged uniquely arranged rectangular LED screens, combined with a multi-tiered floor and an extended catwalk. Spanning 70 meters in width, 50 meters in depth, and nearly 30 meters in height, this stage design follows the latest trends to create the most impactful visual experience. We also divide the stage into 3 parts so that the audience can see the performances conveniently. The stage will be equipped with the most modern sound and lighting systems to ensure good effects, especially for the light performances. By arranging areas for the audience around the stage, we hope that the audience can fully enjoy the music and light performances of “Nha Trang say Hi”.

“Nha Trang say Hi” music festival takes place at 2-4 Square (Nha Trang City) from 7:00pm to 10:15pm on June 7, broadcast live on KTV, social media sites of Khanh Hoa Newspaper and simulcast on TV channels of many provinces and cities in the country.
