Khatoco Ninh Ich Industrial Zone has been completed and put into use since 2012. 69% of the industrial zone has been filled so far.

According to the report of Khanh Viet Corporation, Khatoco Ninh Ich Industrial Zone is invested by the corporation and was put into operation 12 years ago, with an area of ​​35.58 hectares. Currently, the industrial zone has 3 operating factories including Khatoco Garment Factory, Khatoco Ostrich and Crocodile Leather Factory and Crocodile Farm. The occupancy rate of industrial zone reached 69%, creating jobs for more than 700 local workers. The remaining land area (6.02 hectares) has not been able to attract secondary investors due to difficulties in water supply and low construction density controlled by regulations.

At a recent working session with the investor, Le Huu Hoang - Standing Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee assigned the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Irrigation Branch to preside and coordinate with the People's Committee of Ninh Hoa town, relevant departments, branches and investors propose long-term, sustainable solutions to ensure water supply for the industrial zone in particular and households in the area in general. In particular, it is necessary to study conditions suitable to the local terrain in organizing water reservoirs and report to advise the Provincial People's Committee before April 29.

Regarding readjusting the construction density in the industrial zone, Mr. Le Huu Hoang requested the investor to send an official document to the provincial People's Committee, the provincial Department of Construction, Ninh Hoa Town People's Committee and report to the provincial People's Committee. The Department of Construction was assigned to report to the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee on the implementation policy before April 15, ensuring compliance with the general planning and zoning planning of Ninh Hoa town. Mr. Le Huu Hoang also assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to research and guide Khanh Viet Corporation to adjust and supplement professions with content different from the investment certificate; the Department of Industry and Trade creates conditions and supports investors to carry out investment projects on centralized wastewater treatment systems and automatic wastewater monitoring systems for the industrial zone, ensuring completion in October and operation in November, 2024.
