According to Le Ngoc Thach, Chairman of Cam Ranh City People's Committee, upgraded into a city for 15 years, Cam Ranh has not yet developed its urban area to its full potential with few urban tree plantings. Therefore, it is essential to invest in urban innovation and park upgrades to enhance the urban landscape, meeting the cultural and spiritual needs of the local community.
According to Nguyen Huu Phuc, Head of the Urban Management Department of Cam Ranh City, recently, the City People's Committee has issued many decisions and assigned the department to be the investor of projects to renovate and upgrade city parks. Specifically, the National Highway 1 - Le Duan Park Project has a total investment of nearly VND1.2 billion; the National Highway 1 - Pham Van Dong Park Project has a total investment of nearly VND1.5 billion; the traffic island tree ring project on Le Duan Street, the tree ring at the intersection of Le Duan and To Huu has a total investment of nearly VND1.6 billion; the sidewalk and tree ring renovation project in front of Cam Ranh - Khanh Son Power Company has a total investment of nearly VND1.2 billion. The construction unit will rebuild a new sidewalk with stone concrete; pave the yard with terrazzo tiles; build a new tree ring; and renew the decorative lighting system. These projects are invested by Cam Ranh City Urban Management Department and expected to be completed in 2024.

The Cam Ranh City Construction Project Management Board has just started the Cam Loi Ward Park Project with a total investment of VND14.8 billion. The project involves ground and walkway leveling, along with tree cultivation, mainly peanut grass and such trees as the Acanthaceae, Zinnia, Royal poinciana, Lagerstroemia speciosa and Plumeria; a tree watering and lighting system; park alleys, etc.
According to Le Ngoc Thach, park construction and renovation projects invested by the Urban Management Department and the Department of Culture and Information are required by the City People's Committee to be completed before the Lunar New Year. Cam Loi Ward Park Project is required to be completed and put into use on May 19, 2025 to mark the Cam Ranh City Party Congress, the 2025 - 2030 term.
