As part of the international cooperation program, Khanh Hoa General Hospital has recently welcomed a delegation from Hospital No. 1 of Guangxi Medical University (China) for a visit and medical expertise exchange. A delegation from Ninh Thuan General Hospital also joined the meeting.

Accordingly, the delegation from Hospital No. 1 – Guangxi Medical University, which consisted of professors and experts in the fields of hematology, pediatrics, radiology and genetic diagnostics, engaged in medical expertise exchange on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of thalassemia.

The discussion included prevention and intervention strategies for thalassemia; the practical use of You Gui Yun smart cloud platform in the prevention and treatment of thalassemia and recent advances in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for thalassemia in China.

The exchange not only contributed to strengthening international cooperation, fostering professional connections and enhancing the quality of training and treatment, but also promoted the integration and development of Khanh Hoa General Hospital in the region and toward global health care advancement.
