Vinh Yen - Mui Da Son urban and tourism area planning approved

At the 18th session, Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Council, 7th term, has approved the zoning planning (1:2000 scale) for Vinh Yen – Mui Da Son urban and tourism area located in Subdivision 4 of Van Phong Economic Zone.

Accordingly, the planning scope is part of Van Thanh Commune, Van Ninh District, which was renamed to Dai Lanh Commune, with a total area of approximately 3,566 ha. 

The planning boundaries are defined as follows: bordering Subdivision 5, Tuan Le – Hon Ngang urban, commercial, and tourism area in the north; Subdivision 1, Hon Lon Island ecotourism area in the south; Subdivision 3, Dam Mon urban center and seaport in the east and Lach Co Co of Van Phong Bay. The planning area is designated for development as an urban and tourism area, as well as a resettlement zone with an expected population of approximately 11,000.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Council assigned the Provincial People’s Committee to organize the implementation of the resolution; Finalize and approve the planning within its competence, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and the orientation of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Planning for the period 2021–2030, with a vision to 2050; the adjusted construction planning of Van Phong Economic Zone to 2040, with a vision to 2050 and other relevant planning approved by competent authorities.
