The inaugural Nha Trang International Men's and Women's Beach Volleyball Tournament Sanest Salanganes Nest, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa Cup, a part of the 2025 Culture and Sea Tourism Festival, successfully concluded on June 9. The tournament attracted many strong beach volleyball teams and was well-received by local people and tourists for its high caliber and exciting competitions.

As expected, Nha Trang International Men's and Women's Beach Volleyball Tournament Sanest Salanganes Nest, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa Cup 2025 delivered a high-quality and captivating sports spectacle for both locals and tourists in Nha Trang City last days. Although the tournament was designated as a friendly tournament and a sports event of the festival, the participation of top-tier national athletes of Vietnam and other countries significantly increased the tournament’s quality. The tournament drew a large number of spectators, including many foreign tourists.
The tournament gathered 32 strong teams from countries China, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. The teams played 64 matches from the group stage to the final. Finally, in women’s event, the pairs of Thanh Tram - Tuong Vy (Sanvinest Khanh Hoa) and Desi Ratnasari - Nur Atikasari (Indonesia 1) progressed to the final. Thanh Tram - Tuong Vy is the key pair of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa as well as the national team. They have won many gold medals at national championships and national sports festivals. However, Thanh Tram and Tuong Vy's opponent, the Indonesian 1 women's pair, is also considered very strong as they are members of the national team and have won many international medals. Desi Ratnasari - Nur Atikasari of Indonesia 1 are also strong and competitive; they have secured many medals at international tournaments as Indonesian national athletes.In the final match, Desi Ratnasari and Nur Atikasari proved their competence as they won the first set with score of 21-17. In the next 2 sets, Thanh Tram and Tuong Vy, encouraged by rousing cheer from home spectators, gradually regained their confidence and won 21-11 and 15-12 respectively, claiming the championship.

In men's event, the pair of Bintang Akbar and Sofyan Rachaman Efendi (Indonesia 1) showed their superiority over the other teams. In the final match, Bintang Akbar and Sofyan Rachaman Efendi defeated Kaewsai Dunwinit and Nakpra Khong Banlue (Thailand 1) 2-0. Trong Quoc and Van Viet of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa also had a successful tournament when they defeated the pair of athletes of Thailand 3 with a score of 2-0 in the third-place match.

Le Hoang Son, technical supervisor of Asian Volleyball Federation highly appreciated the tournament’s quality. He considers this tournament a good playground for Vietnam and other countries to review their national volleyball teams and prepare their forces for the upcoming SEA Games.
