This summer, Nha Trang plans a lot of cultural, tourism and sports events to serve the entertainment needs of residents and tourists. A lot of attractive activities and events

In the first 4 months of 2025, Khanh Hoa tourism continued to flourish. According to the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the whole province welcomed about 3.6 million overnight guests, an increase of 22.7% over the same period in 2024, reaching 30.5% of the year’s target. The tourism industry is making efforts to accelerate to soon complete the goal of welcoming 11.8 million visitors this year, especially during the peak summer season.

To achieve that goal, the province and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism have developed a plan to organize many large-scale activities and events. In particular, the 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival with nearly 40 cultural, artistic, sports, culinary events... taking place throughout June promises to bring visitors interesting and joyful summer days.

The highlight event of the 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival is "Nha Trang say Hi" music festival held on the evening of June 7, with the participation of famous singers from the program "Anh trai say Hi", combined with a high-altitude fireworks display at sea. There will be the international cultural exchange program on June 8, street parade carnival on June 9, along with a series of attractive events such as: agarwood festival, bird's nest festival, international food festival, Louisiane beer festival... In addition, there will be also sports activities such as international beach volleyball tournament, Sea Star Nha Trang Bay swimming tournament, national beach football tournament, sports-off-road racing, Unique Nha Trang H-marathon, etc. Within the framework of the program, there will be also 2 beauty contests: Miss Sea Island Vietnam 2025 and Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025. Besides the province's program, many tourism businesses will also introduce attractive programs and products for the summer. Notably, VinWonders Nha Trang will combine Tata Show with fireworks on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays every week. There will be also activities such as: International Children's Day - Exciting summer welcome (June 1), Cosplay Festival (from June 1 to July 31), Kite Festival - Flying Colors (every Wednesday and Saturday, from June 1 to July 31), Aquafest Festival (from June 9 to August 9) with games of overcoming obstacles on the sea, shooting water guns... In particular, the lantern festival (Wonder Lantern) will light up Vinpearl Harbor with hundreds of colorful lanterns, creating a magical, splendid atmosphere. Along with the shimmering lights are the melodies of folk songs from three regions combined with vibrant dances, bringing an artistic performance that is both lyrical and modern. During the summer, tourist areas and spots in the coastal city of Nha Trang will organize many attractive commercial, culinary, cultural and entertainment activities. The old Nha Trang tourist area will launch the "Old Nha Trang Legend" scene, introducing the city's construction and development process; inaugurate a traditional craft village with occupations such as hat weaving, mat weaving, incense making, sewing, pottery, lacquer painting... and organize cooking classes for visitors combined with exploring the local cuisine.

Summer is always the golden season for Khanh Hoa tourism. The success of the April 30 and May 1 holidays (with more than 273,155 overnight guests and nearly 1,378 billion VND in revenue, an increase of 5.4% over the same period in 2024) shows that Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa is still an attractive destination for both domestic and international visitors. Currently, many resorts and hotels with beautiful locations in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa are fully booked.

Information from Cam Ranh International Airport shows that the number of visitors this summer is expected to increase sharply. Nguyen Tai Minh - Deputy Director in charge of Cam Ranh International Airport said that in the summer of 2025, the number of flights will increase by about 30% compared to the same period in 2024. Of which, international flights will increase by about 20%, with 26 airlines operating 43 routes to countries and territories (Korea, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Russia and Central Asian countries), with an average frequency of 94 takeoffs and landings/day. Domestic flights will increase by 10% with 4 airlines, with an average frequency of 44 takeoffs and landings/day. With the advantage of islands, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa always attracts visitors from the southern provinces and the Central Highlands. In addition to visitors traveling by air, the number of visitors traveling by rail and expressway connecting Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang is also increasing rapidly.
