Recently, thanks to the connection of a number of units and cooperatives in Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh districts, a number of products from ethnic minority and mountainous areas have been introduced into reputable distribution systems in supermarkets. This not only brings economic benefits but also promotes the development of production areas, raising the value of agricultural products for people in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
In order to best help the consumption of products of people in the ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Khanh Vinh and Khanh Son districts, Co.opmart Nha Trang has arranged a product display space right at the entrance of the supermarket for customers to easily see. In addition, the supermarket also reserved an area to arrange and display OCOP products.

All of Khanh Vinh green-skin grapefruits on the shelves of Co.opmart Nha Trang are supplied by Hieu Linh Agricultural Cooperative in Khanh Vinh town. Currently, on average, each month, the Cooperative brings to the supermarket more than 4 tons of green-skin pomelos grown according to VietGAP standards and meeting OCOP standards grown by the cooperative and some ethnic minority households in the area. Doan Van Huong - Director of Hieu Linh Agricultural Cooperative said: “The cooperative is working with more than 20 grapefruit growing households in the area to cooperate in production to bring high-quality products to the market. Over the time of bringing products to the supermarket, the products have become more and more known to consumers, so they are selling very well. Since the beginning of the year, the consumption output at supermarkets has doubled compared to 2023. This is a good sign, creating motivation for the development of production of cooperatives and people in the district.
Tabai banana of An Hoa Farm (To Hap town, Khanh Son district) with a mild sweetness and a faint aroma like honey is sold at Co.opmart Nha Trang and is increasingly attracting consumers. The product is processed from bananas grown by people in the direction of clean agricultural products. Nguyen Thi Huong Thanh - business manager of An Hoa processing facility (An Hoa Farm) said: "In 2022, with the support of the authorities, An Hoa's products began to appear on supermarket shelves such as bananas, dried bananas, banana vinegar, red beans, pepper, lemongrass essential oil... After a period of introducing the product, it was well received by consumers, so the supermarket proactively contacted An Hoa to regularly supply products. Bringing goods to modern consumption channels such as supermarkets has demonstrated the quality of the product, quickly reaching consumers, contributing to introducing and elevating a popular agricultural product of the people. From there, we also consumed many products for the ethinic minorities".
