According to Do Huu Quynh, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training, the digital learning resources contain e-lesson plans, e-lesson presentations, digital virtual aids, charts, virtual experiments, exercises, etc. which can be used to promote self-study and reference online. At first, teachers will be asked to make e-lesson plans created by using the e-Learning lesson design app, or designed by teachers in a video form for no more than 25 minutes.
The schedule for building digital presentations for lessons is from grades 1 to 3 in the school year 2023 - 2024; and then grades 4 to 5 in the school year 2024 - 2025 (according to the 2018 General Education Program). From the 2025 - 2026 school year, every year, schools will review the e-lessons of grades 1 to 5 for continued implementation and improvements.
The e-presentations are required to ensure accuracy, logicality, aesthetics and educational purposes in designing layouts and a variety of effects such as animation, sound and clip art to provide appropriate visibility for the entire classes.
The Department of Education and Training requested the Divisions of Education and Training to direct schools to organize professional activities, select teachers and content of lessons and topics from classes 1 to 5 according to the 2018 General Education Program to build e-lessons. Primary schools may coordinate with organizations, individuals, businesses and news agencies to support video recording and file formats.
The Department has issued regulations on the number of e-lessons required for each subject on which the Divisions of Education and Training can allocate the number of e-lessons needed to be built; direct schools to complete tasks on schedule; upload e-lessons to the e-lesson resources; check, monitor and evaluate the results and quality of the e-lessons and report to the department.
The digital presentations will be shared and used by primary schools throughout the province to serve innovation in teaching methods.
