"Green - smart - sustainable city" emulation campaign launched

Nha Trang City People's Committee has just issued a plan to launch a "Green - smart - sustainable city" emulation campaign.

The plan targets 11 criteria, including developing the habit of proper disposal of trash; reducing the use of non-biodegradable plastic bags; planting trees; increasing household wastewater collection and treatment; preventing environmental pollution; increasing local residents’ access to clean water; increasing sanitary landfill treatment of household waste; increasing urban lighting with energy-efficient appliances and technologies or running on renewable energy; increasing underground wires, pipes and increasing civilized urban streets; online public services and application of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in urban activities.
