The Executive Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Buddhist Sangha celebrated the 2025 Vesak at Long Son Pagoda (Nha Trang City) on May 12. Present at the event was Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial People’s Committee together with leaders of departments, agencies, localities, monks, nuns, Buddhists and residents in the province.

The celebration included such rituals as reading the Vesak Day message; the chanting of mantras for national peace and prosperity, and the offering of flowers to the Buddha.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Tan Tuan congratulated the Most Venerable, member of the Central Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, member of the Central Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha; the Most Venerable, monks and nuns of the Executive Committee of Provincial Buddhist Sangha, and all Buddhists, wishing them good health and happiness. He also expressed deep appreciation for the contributions made by monks, nuns, and Buddhists to the province.

He hoped that Vietnamese Buddhist monks, nuns and followers in general and the province's Buddhist community in particular would continue promoting the historical tradition of Buddhism with contribution to the development of the homeland.
