9 disaster response groups established ahead of Typhoon Kalmaegi

On November 5, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to establish 9 disaster prevention and control groups in response to Typhoon Kalmaegi.

Specifically, Group 1 is located at the headquarters of the Provincial Military Command, led by Nguyen Khac Toan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the Provincial Civil Defense Steering Committee, in charge of directing the wards of Nha Trang, West Nha Trang, South Nha Trang, North Nha Trang and the Truong Sa special zone.

Group 2 is located at the headquarters of the Regional Defense Command 4 (Bao An ward), headed by Nguyen Long Bien, Standing Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, overseeing and directing the communes and wards of Phan Rang, Do Vinh, Bao An, Xuan Hai and Ninh Phuoc.

Group 3 is located at the headquarters of the Regional Defense Command 2 (Dien Khanh Commune), led by Tran Hoa Nam, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, in charge of the following communes and wards of Dien Khanh, Dien Dien, Dien Tho, Dien Lac, Dien Lam, Suoi Hiep and Khanh Vinh.

Group 4 is located at the headquarters of Dong Hai Ward People's Committee, led by Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the Provincial Civil Defense Steering Committee, in charge of the communes and wards of Dong Hai, Ninh Chu, Ca Na, Phuoc Dinh, Ninh Phuoc, Cong Hai, Ninh Hai, Vinh Hai and Thuan Bac.

Group 5 is located at the headquarters of Phuoc Hau Commune People's Committee, led by Le Huyen, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, in charge of the communes of Phuoc Ha, Phuoc Huu, Thuan Nam, Phuoc Hau, Anh Dung, My Son, Ninh Son and Lam Son.

Team 6 is stationed at the headquarters of the Regional Defense Command Area 3 (Cam Lam commune), led by Nguyen Thanh Ha, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and in charge of the communes and wards of South Cam Ranh, Ba Ngoi, Cam Linh, Cam Ranh, North Cam Ranh, Cam An, Cam Hiep, Cam Lam, Suoi Dau.

Team 7 is stationed at the Regional Defense Command Area 1 (Ninh Hoa ward), led by Nguyen Tuy, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, and in charge of the communes and wards of Dai Lanh, Tu Bong, Van Thang, Van Ninh, Van Hung, North Ninh Hoa, East Ninh Hoa, Ninh Hoa and Hoa Thang.

Team 8 is stationed at the headquarters of North  Khanh Vinh Commune People's Committee, led by Nguyen Huu Phuoc, Director of the Provincial Police, in charge of the communes of West Ninh Hoa, Hoa Tri, Tan Dinh, South Ninh Hoa, North Khanh Vinh, Central Khanh Vinh, South Khanh Vinh and West Khanh Vinh.

Team 9 is stationed at the headquarters of Khanh Son commune People's Committee, led by Nguyen Duy Quang, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in charge of the communes of West Khanh Son, East Khanh Son, Khanh Son, Bac Ai, Bac Ai Dong and Bac Ai Tay.

The working groups are responsible for overseeing and coordinating disaster prevention efforts, while also conducting regular inspections to ensure effective implementation of response plans.
