Launching emulation campaign to exceed target of “Planting 1 billion trees" project 

2025 is the final year of implementing "Planting 1 billion trees in 2021 – 2025 period” project according to the Prime Minister's Decision. Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has recently launched an emulation campaign to complete and exceed the set targets in the province.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee has requested departments, agencies, localities, and forest owner units in the province to effectively implement the project as directed by the Prime Minister; strengthen forest management, protection and development in 2025; inspect and evaluate the result of the implementation. 

Khanh Hoa aims to plant over 4.95 million scattered trees and more than 3,630 hectares of concentrated forest in 2021 – 2025 period.
